How to be a good student


Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders. Everyone has a unique quality, and specially qualities of students are of great impact to determine the student’s bright future and career.Then who is a good student? What are the qualities of a good student? Actually student is mostly refers those who learns something. However, the current definition of student refers to anyone who attend the school, colleges or university.
These are points, which tells you the secrets about “How to be a good student”
1.       Set priorities:
Each and every student should set their priorities, whether they want to do a study first or enjoy only the college. Each and everything has some specific time, but you should go with a proper direction. You set your priorities, once book open or the computer is booted up, phone call goes unanswered, TV shows unwatched, snacks ignored. The Study is like a business; business comes before recreation.



2.      To start with, listen to teacher:
It doesn’t mean talking while listening… no, they never go together. Whenever class is going on, you should listen to teacher what they want to say. So you don’t have to get up and ask the teacher what he/she said and make them annoyed. If you are listening proper to them, you need not to worry about regular study; half of the study will cover in the lectures.



3.      Schedule your time
Time is money” it’s very true in student life. You should be very clear about your time in education. It is the thing which we can’t buy or hold, so make your time table of study including your hobby or other activities. You will never lose anything, if you are following the time table which you made. So, schedule your time and set for your examination.



4.       Study anywhere or everywhere:
If study is your priority, then you can do it anywhere or everywhere. You should be used with any condition while you are doing study, so you can easily go with it. Study is a very important part any student’s life, you are nothing without study. So think about it twice!



5.      Get organized
Staying organized in school is extremely important. If you are going with proper organization, then you are one step ahead in being successful. Planning is the best precaution to every problem. Kept a folder for each subject like you can put all your maths notes and books in that folder, your language  arts papers in your language arts folder, your science’s papers in your science folder, and so on. To make this easier, use color codes or labels to your folders.



6.      Take good notes
Reading the textbook is important, but you should keep your own notes of every subject so you can focus on the topic what teacher emphasized. Write down anything that you think important and keep them neat and complete.These notes are very important while you are preparing for your examination, because it is in your words and you can understand easily.



Find out what kind of learner you are. Every person has its own way to study, some of them learn better while they are listening, some of them better when they write things down, some people better when they are reading. Discover your own study method or a combination of methods, that works best for your learning style. For being a good student, you have to follow these instructions like, 1. Don’t talk in class, 2. Make sure you retain all your noes from previous lesson, 3. Don’t only sit there  and just listen. Get involved, 4. Try to work out your homework yourself. 5. Be attentive and alert. Follow all above the points and you will be the best student for remaining time.

Who you are?

1.       Step-by-step
If you have an interest in an architect field, then you should go step by step. Most of the colleges in India offer you architect education at undergraduate level. You can start to do study after 10th or 12th for an entrance examination to get admission in best architecture college. You should complete an internship program during the time of graduation or after completing the graduation. Either with some performing architects or with an architecture firm you can gain practical experience and better up job prospects.

2.      Start early
If you want to get into the profession of architecture, you should be very good in communication with immense physical stamina. Architectures have to work on the desk as well on the construction site. Sound concentration level, patience, team spirit, responsibility, flexibility and accountability, etc. these quality give you professional success in architecture and design. Admission for architecture allows only for those who completed their academics in physics, chemistry and mathematics at 10+2 level. Some colleges in India offer undergraduate course in architecture which lasts for 5 years. The selection is done for this common entrance exam conducted by the Council of Architecture throughout India. Some private colleges in India have their own criteria. If anyone interested to further their knowledge in architecture can pursue post-graduation in architecture for two years.

Five year study of architecture gives you knowledge of a wide range of subjects, including history, law, IT, technology and management as well as a substantial design element. You also got the knowledge about computer-aided design, drawing and project management skills.
